Truck dying randomly
So about a week ago I started up my truck and it started "loping" super bad. It eventually died and I started it again and everything was fine. Today I'm driving down the road, I push the gas and no response, truck dies. Then I go to start it up and I get the lope again. Start it up again, runs fine. Help please on what this might be.

Re: Truck dying randomly
Sounds to me like you have a CPS (cam positioning sensor) issue. It is probably going bad and I would recommend you get one or one day the truck will die and not start again. My truck was doing the exact same thing about a month ago and I replaced the CPS. No issues since. Here is a link on how to change it as well. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Truck dying randomly
I paid about 50 bucks from mine. NAPA is a good place to get them. And no... they are simple to change. Your best bet is once you locate the sensor, go under the truck and change it from there. Much, much easier.
